We have a 3D printer in our GT classroom. A 3D printer shoots out plastic to make objects. You can upload things from the computer or create things. You can make animals and things. It is good to have a 3D printer because we can create things.
Today we made flip book animation and tested them out. It was really cool. We also did LittleBit challenges and got to level 9. We also learned to play Mancala. Mancala is a game that you have to have strategy and patience. A long time ago in China and Africa they played this game but they used seeds and holes in the dirt. We played Mathological Liar too. Mathological Liar is a game where you read problems and you have to see which one is the liar. You try to solve the math fact to see if they are lying.
Today we made flip book animation. Flip book animation is a flip book made out of sticky notes or paper. You put pictures on the sticky notes and you move the picture a little bit. You have to show every single second. Then you show the bottom page, which is the first picture, and you flip the pages down to watch the movie. If it is right, you should see the pictures moving. We are doing early movie making to get ready to learn Stop Motion. Blog Post by: KW |
